These germs are particularly harmful to toddlers who are usually placed by their parents in shopping carts. The shopping cart handles are even said to be filthier than toilet seats!
One tip is to always wipe the handles before letting your toddler ride the cart. Another way is by using a shopping cart cover. Cart covers assure parents that their kids won’t touch the shopping cart. A cover also provides padding so your child will stay comfortable and safe.
