When feeding babies, it would seem wearing a poncho would be wise at times. Infants love to spit, and laugh, and talk with their mouths full which can make it hard for a mom who is trying to avoid changing her clothes. To prevent your infant from making a mess, first use a high chair if you are not. This will keep the infant’s food localized to one area. In addition to a high chair, a baby bib works great both for keeping the food off your baby’s clothes, and also for wiping food off their faces and in some cases, clothing (it’s bound to happen regardless).
If your baby is fussy and doesn’t want to eat, don’t force them. When it comes to feeding your baby, a little patience will preserve your sanity.
