Don’t Let Narrow Shoes Delay Your Toddler

Little kids’ shoes often don’t come in more than one width. That means all toddlers are expected to wear the same width of shoes. But wearing shoes that don’t fit may delay your toddler from learning how to walk. If your toddler has wide feet you’ll want to make sure to get him shoes that fit.

If you can’t find any wide width toddler shoes in your local baby stores try checking some online businesses. Specialty products are often located more easily online. Online businesses offer a variety of styles and colors in baby shoes that you probably won’t be able to find anywhere else.

When small children are first learning to walk, a comfortable and protective pair of shoes is essential. We all know the pain and discomfort that accompanies an inadequate pair of shoes, and these factors are multiplied when you are considering a young child’s feet. Fortunately, there is a company that is committed to creating ergonomic and eco-friendly shoes for babies.

Pedoodles baby shoes are CPSIA compliant and made from recycled materials, so they are good for the earth. Unlike traditional baby shoes that can be stiff and heavy, Pedoodles are soft and lightweight, acting as a second skin on your baby’s feet. Kids will love the cute designs and vivid colors that are available.

The company was founded with the goal of creating soft and comfortable footwear that provide the best fit possible.

The purpose of the shoes is to provide a figurative “second skin” for your child’s feet that doesn’t infringe on development. Pedoodles shoes feature an exclusive flat rubber sole that provides superior traction and durability. They are available in a variety of colors, and come with adorable animal prints that kids will love.

They may not do much walking yet, but infants need shoes too.  That’s why there are booties and other footwear for very young children.  Typical baby shoes are soft-soled and slip on easily.  The best kind are made from soft, pliable leather and are very comfortable.  Many of these shoes use Velcro fasteners to keep them securely in place.

Pedoodles offers fabulous footwear for babies and toddlers.  Its First Feet Collection has impressive Pedflex flat rubber soles that provide great durability and traction outdoors.  The shoes come in six cool colors, and in small to extra large sizes for newborns and toddlers up to 2-years-old.  Each pair is matched with a fun, embroidered animal character too, besides being flexible and breathable.  For older children, there’s Pedoodles’ equally outstanding Next Steps Collection.  These hip juvenile shoes have closed and open-toed versions and may be used for dressy or informal occasions.  As in the First Feet Collection, all shoes are enhanced with Pedflex flat rubber soles.  Most rely on Velcro closures as well so no need to worry about laces to tie or coming undone.

Gabe’s First Shoes

My son recently turned eighteen and now he is free to do what he wishes, legally anyway.  It seems like only yesterday that he was learning how to walk.  Now he is looking for a job and starting his career.  I took a look at his memory chest the other day and found his first pair of baby shoes.

They were old and gray after so much wear, but I still love them and I will keep them forever.  I think that I have raised an amazing son who will one day have his own wonderful family to look after.
